Hi All,

iv iv been keeping fresh water fish for a few years now and as much as I love them iv had quiet a bit of bad luck recently. So after looking on the internet iv realised a fancy a change. So I came across the beautiful cat/bamboo sharks and some lovely rays. I'm completely new to marine so I'm pretty much starting again. I'm tank in 2150 uk liters. I don't want corals so hopefully that'll keep things easier? Any advice of the sump size and design would be great plus equipment and stock I can keep. This tank in between my kitchen and living room. If it will let me I'll put a couple do pics of my old tank (slightly smaller) and the latest (what's gone back to have a couple of changes made.

thanks in advance
Dave

That would make a great ray tank. For sharks, you'd be limited to something small like a coral or marble catshark.

What is on it for filtration now? It shouldn't be that hard to modify it to work for a marine tank.

PS - Welcome to the site!

Thanks for your reply Matt.

Im pretty open to suggestions as to what I can keep, I know I'm no expert as never kept marine.

I use canister filters for my freshwater plus Uv's currently. I'm going to have sump built as soon as I know what I need to put in it.

I wont rush this project so I'm after as much info as possible.
