My little peppered cory got stuck in an opening in the filter tube. I released him, but I'm afraid he may have injured his spine because it is slightly crooked. He is not swimming properly and just lying there. I placed him in a baby saver all day, and he made it through the night, but he is still not swimming. He only moves when I shift the baby saver. I'm very upset about this because he is one of my favorite fish (such a hard little worker). Is there a chance he can recover from this? I placed him back in the main tank this morning, but he is just lying on the gravel. It breaks my heart to see him this way. If you do not think he can recover, what do you suggest I do because the quality of his life is questionable at this point. Do fish feel pain? Any advice would be helpful . . . .
