I have a group of angels that I got from an online vendor that aren't really that great. I have three pairs, two of which are veil x normal pairs. The one decent pair that I am considering breeding are OK but finnage isn't anything that would win a show. I wouldn't want to sell/trade poor quality angels if I breed can I get at least some A quality fish out of a spawn of so so angels?

It's all on the genetics of parents so if parents aren't all that great I don't think they will make better looking offspring. Just my opinion but you can try
Thanks. Looks like they have some nice angels although I'm not into the fancy breeds, well I might go for Pinoy, but the veiltailed, lace, zebra striped, wide finned, multi-colored, flavor of the day.........not for me. Then again, if I'm going to ditch the bad genes I might go for something different like rainbow cichlids or even keyholes.
