School of corys would be a good choice.

I must agree with GSM. A school of 6 to 8 corys would be a good choice. I'm partial to Panda's :D and I feel they would be a great choice for your 22 gal. but, there are others which would be just as efficient. Maybe you have or will find a favorite of your own. You'll have to just see what's available and go from there.

And Yes, Discus need a larger tank than one the size of a 22 gallon, as they grow to be 8 to 10 inches when adults. Depending on the quantity of Discus you get, you may need a tank no smaller than a 45 to 55 gallon, with a measurement from front to back of the tank of 20 to 24 inches.

Your choice of Rams for your 22 gal. would be terrific if you keep the quantity to about 2 or 3. They get to be around 3 inches in size when adults.

When choosing your fish, you have to take into consideration if there is going to be enough room for your fish. A rule of thumb to follow is 1 gallon of water for every 1" of fish at it's adult or fully grown size. Be considerate of your fish and give them the room they need to grow to their maximum potential. I hope this helps. Good luck with your tank and fish selection.

PIctus? I dont really like cory cuz they loook rather ugly haha no offense cory lovers
Lol they're cute. :)

As for the pictus, I'd say they're too active for a 20 and would like at leat a 40 breeder too swim, as they're are crazy fast, and I wouldn't want him crammed.
