I need help on the perfect fish to buy. I am looking for something that looks mean, is highly agressive and predatory. I was looking into the common wolf fish which seemed perfect at first until i realized it was ilegal to own in AZ. Then I moved on to the Snakehead which also seemed perfect besides the fact it is also ilegal in AZ. Now im liking the payara which doesnt seem to be ilegal here, but is to big for me. So does anybody know of a fish around 10 - 20 inches that is similar to one of the 3 fish i mentioned? or better yet a smaller species or type of these three fish that is legal in AZ and has the same aggressive,predatory nature and mean look?

You can get either a scomb (common ones) or red-tail payara (kind of common) as they both stay under 20".

High-fins are legal but seem abit small and pansyish compared to the common. n i dont like the way the chilids look i like that snake-like or long ancient type body. also i thought the payara grew to be 36 inches, and my tank is a 55 gallon
