performing water changes by nitrate readings

so in my 58 gallon after one week my reading are 0 ammonia 0 nitrite and 10ppm nitrate could i got till next week with out a water change will it be ok im just curious bcuz its not much of a nitrate reading . thanks so much

i would do a small w/c now....just to avoid a large rise in your nitrates later on...

thats kind of what i thought. I figured if i let it get to high it could turn into a problem wc isnt a big deal its a 58 gallon so i usualy do a 15 or 20 gallon change i was just curious on other opinions if it would work

depends on how much it goes up per week a low nitrate reading is never bad (0 however usualy means the tank isnt cycled or has a ****load of plants)

if it only goes up 10 per week you could leave it till next week and it would only be 20 ppm which isnt bad

Ok thanks for the reply i think i might let it go. Just so i can see how much of an increase there is.
