Hey all!

This may have been discussed before, but I was wondering which if any fish keeping magazines you guys are reading that are available in the US?

Years ago I read TFH. They were/are headquarted near where I grew up and were pretty much the only game in town. Today I see many more available, I often find them online while researching my current interests. Which do you prefer?

Back before the internet took off I used to be an avid reader of TFH.I wasn't aware that the magazine was still printed,I don't recall seeing them at the shops that I frequent.

man I thought magazines were a thing of the past. in the 80's and 90's my ex used to buy me an annual subscription to TFH. that was one of my Christmas presents every single year. it stopped with the divorce LOL. gee this thread brought back some memories:nilly:

Haha, i've heard of ex wives using the kids against the hubby during divorce proceedings, they can be nasty like that. But man, stopping your subscription to your favourite fish mag is just downright peevish. It's just coming up to Christmas as well. I bet you wish you hadn't logged in now!

LOL ya she could be mean man. I got the kid in the divorce she got everything else!! was a good outcome if ya ask me. I do miss the subscription though. that was my bathroom reading material....

I get Amazonas and it's a great magazine that comes out bi-monthly, well worth the read and price.

I have a few of those. One of the shops I go to stocks it regularly.

There one called Practical Fishkeeping, it's english but im sure you would be able to get it in the U.S. I used to like their website as the mag itself is hard to find here and very expensive but they haven't updated it in ages.
There's an Aussie one called tails and scales which covers reptiles too but it's a bit amateurishly produced and I doubt they would export.
Magazines in general seem to be heading for extinction here, lots of newsagents closing down which is a shame, I used to like going into them and flicking through a few mags on my lunch break.

I also got PFC from time to time.I may even still have a few old copies tucked away somewhere.
