Permanent drip marks?

The 125g I got used has white marks down the front. It looks like water ran down the front and dried. However, if I clean it with vinegar or Windex, the marks come back literally less than a second after I wipe it.

ANy idea on how I can remove these marks?

I've had this problem before. I wet the area and then used a blade and gently scraped it off. End result was the tank looking perfect and no scratches.

+1 pretty sure its just calcium deposits

The glass is completely smooth, so there is nothing to scrape.

A flat razor blade and some windex. You can try a Lime-Away type hard water deposit stuff but if it is on there really tuff, it will need to soak.
If the glass has become etched, then cerium oxide polish and a little elbow grease.
