does anybody know if I can apply for a special permit to own pirahna in washington legally!!! I have always wanted one and don't want to have to move to montana!!!

Washington State does not issue private permits and only rarely research permits to accredited institutions, At least this was true a few years ago and I doubt that they have changed.
I made an inquiry about permits for several species of aquarium fish here in Texas, and was denied in one sentence: "We only issue permits to zoos and aquariums." They have also ignored my requests for a copy of the legislation relating to this, and for transcripts of the legislative sessions during which this law was passed. I am a mere neon tetra in their view... nay... a feeder comet! 
Damn the laws. Whats the fine for fish with teeth? its got to be worth the risk ! Or maybe its a good thing i have the sickness ! P FEVER!
