Perrruno mucus?

I was just looking at my Perruno cat, and i noticed that he had some white skin/mucus eg. handing off of his wiskers. Is this normal? My old Limas used to do it is this the same sort of thing? My water params are fine im just gonna due a W/C as it is due. Please help Thanks.

when was the last time you checked the water params?, he could be stressed, or there was a bit of a spike in the ammonia.

how is he now?

I don't think it's normal.. I would see this with big SA cats when importing them, and they were exposed to extreme stress and ammonia.. I also noticed too much current and not enough hiding spots will cause a catfish to curl his whiskers..

Well i check the water parmas last night an dthey were fine, the mucus went last night and is now fine.

Ive just been looking at him and he has a little more on his wiskers. But he still acts fine, its the same sort of mucus that my Limas had somtimes.

my lima shed's its skin alot, maybe its doing the same?

I check the PH its 6.5 thats whats it been since it was setup,.
