Perruno playtime

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Many catfish will warm up to your hand after they get use to you. They will let you pet them and hand feed them. I've had marbles do that in the past.

That's nothing! My loaches let me pet their suboccular spines!

He wasn't getting petted. He was taste testing for later.

I was feeding shrimp and perch fillets to our 720 gallon which houses 2 22"-24" L. longibarbus (marble pims) earlier this week and had a similar occurrence. I was holding a piece of shrimp in my fist, waiting for the gar to come back around when, all of a sudden, I felt a gentle nibble in my fingers. When I looked down there was one of the marbles nibbling on my hand and looking up at me like "I know you are just dying to give me that last piece of shrimp!" lol. He was already stuffed to the gills but lookin' for more! I had to turn him down though and he swam away disappointed:(. LMAO.

LOL thats so cute...i wish my marble hybrids were that curious!

My Experience with Marble cats is they act a lot like RTC's. I've owned 3 in the past and currently own one......... and I've loved them all. I've never had a jumpy one. The good thing about them other than their personality is that you can actually keep them with other fish.......Unlike a big RTC.
