This is the 3rd time I have posted about my chocolate cichlid having some kind of parasite.
It's started out with a small reddish looking lump on the caudal fin. I used some iodine on the spot and the symptoms lessened. Then another one appeared and the original one came back. The fish seemed mildly distressed occasionally flashing or shaking but nothing too bad. Water parameters are fine, all other fish are fine and all eating well including the 'sick fish'.
Another parasite has now appeared on the same fish but this time on one of the pelvic fins. This one seems worse than the others, much more red and a lot more visible.
I dosed the tank with some waterlife parazin p but this has had little to no affect.
Can some help as the fish seems to be deteriorating slowly!
