Hey guys,
I have posted before asking about white spots on loaches,
I got some info on it and a while later i lost 2 CL's but the white spot seemed to clear out a little.
But there was still white spots on 2 of my CL's so i decided to start treatment again...
However for some reason the treatment seems to "fade" away quickly (water doesnt stay blue)..
Friday is my last dose of the Protozin.
My question is:
1. How exactly is the salt method used? increase temp, add salt every 12 hours? water changes needed?
2. Will Silver arowana, Indo Datnoid, Flagtail be able to withstand the aquarium salt and increased temperature? And also will the clown loaches themselves be able to take the salt? as I heard that since they have no scales, less salt should be used?

Thanks in advance,
Oh and the white spots on the loaches are not severe but it is persistant as some has not cleared since the first time it appeared (2-3 weeks ago).
And I have no carbon in the filter, except for some sort of ceramics that was given to me when i bought the tank (along with the filter), unsure what the ceramic/filter media is...

Do not treat with ich cure medication

Step 1: Raise the temp to 86F
Step 2: Add half the dosage of aquarium salt (1 tbsp per 10 gallons)

Your clown loaches will be fine with the salt during the treatment period.
Your indo and arowana will also be fine.

I have a similar situation and stocking list, I did the above, and it works.

Give it time and the ich will pass

I'm unfamiliar with these type of fish, but the 'Salt' treatment does work.. I'd say give it about a week..
