Hi everyone!
I have an angelfish that is in week 3 of a swim bladder problem.
He/she is swimming head up and typically sticks a corner facing directly up at 90 degrees. He/she is not eating much, but enough to keep he/she alive it appears. (He/she is fed every 3 days as it is recommend to reduce feedings with a swim bladder problem).
I have tried de-shelled pea solution, but he/she will not take the pea, de-shelled, boiled, raw - no way, no how! It's very frustrating.
My local aquarium store suggested MetroPlex soaked food. I tried this for 2 weeks but it has had zero effect.
The fish is in a 10 gallon hospital tank. The tank is bear and the water is clean as can be to promote "healing".
So, I am out of ideas. Anyone know of any other possible fixes for a swim bladder problem?
Cheers,
Lyrek!
