pretty peaceful, unless they are the largest fish in the tank they tend to dominate.
they love to eat, will usually out eat other fish easily.

I put some small feeder guppies in his/her tank he is 6 inches and he is not eating them? do you think he will eat them after he gets used to the tank. I did get him yesterday he aproched them a couple times but they all swam away? will he ever eat the feeder fish thanks! whould you say that they are about as aggressive as a green terror or jack dempsey. how valuble is a full grown one and how valuble is a 6 incher. what are some helthy treats that I can feed him. and can you give me some genaral info on them to. Thanks for repling
PLEASE REPLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yet another large bodied thick fish that will grow FAR too large for your 3ft tank. :irked:

You might want to start doing your research, and actually listening to some of the members of this forum, before you buy the fish. :duh:

A Pearsi is definitely too large for a 3' tank.

I also wouldn't feed it any feeder fish whatsoever. Get him going on a good staple pellet and, if you feel the need, treat with krill or brine or mysis maybe once a week.

my 3ft tank is 18 inches in depth and over 20 inches tall. I now this might be a stupid question but can a 6 inch perlsli get along with a 14 inch oscar in a 75 gallon tank. I spent $30 on him/her and that is a lot to me. but my 3 foot tank is 65 gallon can you please tell me how to sex them.

I know, it's 36x18x20 - which is approx 56 gallons. (not 65 like you keep saying)
Either way it's FAR too small for an adult Pearsei.

As far as your 75 gallon tank, it's already overstocked. (14" oscar, 10" catfish, and a 14" pleco) ...... and now you want to add a Pearsei? WTF is wrong with you?
