You don't have to kill them if you do it right. Besides, why does that matter if you're letting the fish bash aginst the rocks like that?
I guess you're right lol... This year was pretty crappy at that River.. Only chums and some trout. Next year going to go up to chilliwack p, where there's a lot more salmon lol

Chilliwack is too hectic for me. I'm not up for the elbow-to-elbow crowds.
I started up a Youtube channel. I should start a thread on here when I have some time.
This is down in Coquitlam... Not many people fishing there, but not the most fresh fish lol
If I can't lip grab, due to teeth, I'll grab the base of the tail or use a net to remove the hook. I will never handle a fish I intend to release under the gill plate. Fish can recover from bodily damages much better than damaged gills.
