anybody have any peruvian (south amazon spotted) gars?

Well its not a true gar but most likely Boulengerella maculata.
True gars range from North America into parts of Central America and Cuba.-Anne

Yup, cool fish. My big one was recently eaten by my lungfish. They are pretty mellow with anything they can't swallow. Mine was about 14".
