I have these two rays:

Unidentified peruvian ray, about 6" diameter:

And this motoro, about 2" smaller than the peruvian ray:

Would you guys think it's ok to keep them together? Currently they are in separate tanks, but I'd really like to keep them together. Both of them eat fine. The disk size difference isn't that big, but the peruvian ray is a bit bulkier too.

So what do you guys think? Ok or not ok?

get them fat and healthy and eating good and you should be fine.... looks like humerosa type ray and a motoro you got there.... how big is the other motoro?

As long as they're eating well, it shouldn't be a problem. Being that they're similar in size, there shouldn't be too much to worry about as far as one not being able to compete for food.

The peruvian ray is about 6" and the motoro is 4-5".

i miss read you i thought you wanted to put them with another ray... you can keep them together now.... they are small i dont foresee any problems mixing them as long as they are healthy..(no fungus disk rot etc...)

Should be ok, just be sure to quarantine....
