Hello all my pet bass has 3 white spots about 3 inches apart down its lateral line. They are on both sides. It looks like just the scale is missing. On on its head there is some whiteness but he has always had it. Just the white spots concern me. Also his fins are all good looking, just his pectoral fins look a little ripped up. I've had him for 4 years now and hes gone through stages like this, but these white spots have been going on for a while now. I treated him with Melafix and it did nothing. I've done a 30% water change before the treatment then after 7 days I did a 25% wc and now it looks like there is redness where the holes are. I had my bass since I was a sophmore in high school and now I am a sophmore in college and I don't want him to die.
