Hi,

Just wondering if anyone on here ever had a pet mice. I think they make great rewarding pet. People don't agree with me. However you have to let them out of the cage everyday for them to explore and for you to bond. I can see them being boring pet if you leave them in their cage all the time. One of my male mice is an escape artist. I've only been bitten once. On my way home from the pet store. Since them they never bite me. They seem to enjoy the human interaction. I let them run free surpervised. They don't like the hamster ball very much.

got two male mice and they fight for territory unfortunately. Pet store told me it would be alright to get two males since they were all in the same cage anyway.

I had them when I was about 11, 12 years old. I had the white mice. But to each his own. You like what you like. If you like them then there is nothing boring about them.

Mice are quality little pets I used to breed them when I was a kid and sell them to local pet shops , they are brilliant escape artists when they want out :D I used to setup tightropes and climbing frames for mine and watch them tear about for hours lol
At the time either ginger or tanned mice were harder to come by so once I got them breeding I was selling quite a few to the shops (this payed for my fishtank too :) )
Upload a few videos of yours if you can lets see them in action , I wish I had pics/vids of my two that became very tame but it was 25 years ago so not luck there :(

Thanks all for your replies. I've been busy with the holidays. I wish to wish all of you a happy new year. I will be sure to post some videos of my mice in the future. Right now today they had fun chasing the flash of my cellphone.

I had a couple when I was a kid, I rescued feeders :). Used to put them on my matchbox/hotwheels cars and drive them around. Built them houses with legos etc. a lot of fun
