Pet Peeve Thread

What are some of your pet peeves?


I'll start with a few:

When people say "Google ______ (whatever)" -- Why does it have to be Google... Just search it.


When my tank glass is clean except for one little water mark running down the side.


When people exaggerate cramped spaces in tanks and liken it to a human staying in a 2x2x5 room (or something similar).


Small pieces of debris on my glasses that obstruct even the TINIEST part of my field of vision. It doesn't happen a lot because I usually have my contacts in...








There are plenty more.


I'd like to hear some of yours though...

it bothers me when people use the phrase "in this economy" as a prefix to whatever point they are trying to make and also when people add apostrophe to the end of a noun in order to make is plural i.e. we sell orange's

when some one has some thing for sale or trade no price or where they are located
if you dont want people to know where you live dont post it for sale ffs
it is very iratateing

you should have called this thread "d'ya know what really grinds my gears" because that sounds cooler.

I hate it when my dad uses all the what he calls "ends" of the shampoo when there's like 1.5" left of a £12 bottle of shampoo which wasn't even his!!!!

AND

i hate it when he books "vacations" without telling me! for 14 nights when he knows i have college and stuff.
