Fish: can mean 1 fish, or plural for several fish of the same species

Fishes (as a verb): That man "fishes" for large mouth bass every Sunday.

Fishes (noun): Only applies when refering to several fish of different species.

Fishes sounds stupid as a noun...

Just sayin.

I prefer to use fish-i. Very similar to the pluralization of octopus....octopi. Keeps people on their toes.

LOL

I only have one huge pet peeve and that is people eating pizza with a fork and knife - can't stand that. There are exceptions (i.e. deep dish)

my pet peeve is concieted arrogant fools! besides that i can pretty much tolerate anything lol!

The mixing up of homophones or near homophones. There, their, and they're. Affect and effect especially irk me.

Right on. Its just two bad that people can't understand a pair means to, but then again I guess too error is human.

LOL, nice :)

I read it twice before I realized your satire then I laughed my pet peeve is endless sentences or actually a group of random words that run on forever while the author is trying to make a point but without any type of punctuation the entire thought gets lost quickly and then of course they will shift thoughts mid "sentence" and truly mess with your mind as you read the entire jumbled mess again in an effort to make some sense of it all but it gets even worse when they have several typos involved or what really gets me is when they use "text" 2 try 2 make there point and know you really hav 2 focus on each word (deep breath...exhale) so you end up with a random collection of mispelled words and numbers and then the moron that typed it will get an attitude if you dont understand what they are trying to tell you
