Pet shop peacock bass

my question i have never heard the name lukanani on Mfk but my pets shops sell there bas as lukanani i posted my pics of my bass and got poss. wild mono ....... are lukanani same, jus a diff name or what??

From what I know, Lukanani is just what they call peacock bass in general in Guyana, where Ocellaris come from... sorta like Temensis being called Tucunare.

My LFS had them listed as the same thing. Apparantly just another name.

ohh alright because i said to him peacock bass and he made sure to correct me and say lukanani
