This guy was in a tank with firemouths. Not labeled as FH. Got him for 4 bucks! About two inches and looks to be short body also. Glad I needed bird food!

Daaaaaaamn, good pickup. I wish I could find deals like that. Our Pet Supplies Plus only has bettas.....buttttt they have black orchid crowntails for $4.99. Deaaaal.
Nice little nuchal on that beast all ready. They're like a fish thrift store sometimes and it's the only place I can get Carpintis locally. Of course they call them JD's lol
