In 2009, out of 2352 animal taken in to be rehomed(or what ever they call it) only 8 made it to families the rest were killed.
that has to be some kind of record for least effective animal shelter.
The pound in the same city had a 50% success rate finding homes for animals brought in, the SPCA had 85% success rate.
