petco heaters

anyone ever try the petco heaters? i've read a few good reviews about them but not sure. also what size would i get a 30 gal? 100w or 150w?

Yup, had one for probably a year or so. still works fine

get a bigger one so you dont have to upgrade on a larger tank

I bought a tank which had a pet co heater and it went out in a few weeks. I thought that maybe the heater was old etc so I bought another one and it only lasted a month. They are JUNK. I recommend marineland stealth heaters. I have them in most of my tanks and they are excellent.

^^ very true. I just grabbed a cheap one for a QT tank and it has been working for a long time.
