Wow have I got a story for you. I went to my local petco tonight to pick up some crickets and when i walked through the doors a discount carriage caught my eye. Now I must have been the first person to walk by this thing because if anyone else was there before me they would have done what I did or they probably didnt know the least thing about fish. So lets get to the point, this is what I came away with:(8) XL Whisper Bio-Bags $.25 ea.
(2) Tetratec PF500 2-pack filters $.25 ea.
(2) Profile 30 3-pack filters $.25 ea.
(1) Lee's pump and storage shelf $.25
(2) 14"/200 watt Gaurdian submersible heaters $5.00 ea.
(1) 10"/110 watt Gaurdian submersible heater $3.00
(2) Exo-Terra small spanish moss' $.10 ea.
(1) 8.5 oz. Seachem: Reef Dip-Coral Disenfectant $.25
All this for just $16.50 a savings of $194.50.... yea I couldn't believe it either, I had to go ask the guy to make sure I wasn't seeing things. All of it working and intact, the packaging was just out of date or ratty.Now, I dont have a salt water aquarium or the need for the small heater so scoot on over to the classified forum and I will give a chance for me to pass on some savings to a fellow member.
. Ive never really been a huge fan of Petco for buying fish, but I usually get my filter stuff an food there. Every so often you can get good fish there, Like I found my current Red Terror there, an spotted a few Aros at one acouple days ago, Im going back hopefully tommorow to see if there still there an possibly get one.
