Anyone use these and recommend these? From what I hear they are pretty solid. What do you think?

They look OK to me. I've used stands that look weaker than that.

i have this for the 20, had to send the first one back since it wasn't quite flat, and two corners were higher than the others, making it wobbly a bit without the tank, even when i redid it several times on two different sets. water was slightly leaning on one side of the tank, so i had to use felt paper to even it out. they're really cheap, though, and look nice if you like metal. i think they'd work best if you had carpet, and if you really don't want a wood stand.

I have one for a 55g sitting on a flat rock base that's been working well for a year now. I like how you can screw in the feet to different depths to get a level footing.

On the other hand, I bought one for a 29g and it seemed very wobbly -- much too top heavy for the size of the base, IMO. For a 20g it was fine, but just didn't seem like a good base for a 29g.

I have one for my 55g and it's on a cement floor with carpet and it seems very sturdy. The water level isn't even but it works just fine and I think it looks really nice
