petco sand

Has anyone used sand from petco? they have a red color that i like and can't seem to find anywhere else. Is their sand dirty and is it on the heavier side? thanks

I bought a 5lb bag of their black sand a couple months back. It's pretty fine an light but not bad. Do a normal rinse. Its actually pretty clean, but a decent rinse is still needed.

right now i have red and black gravel and it looks terrible. will give the petco sand a try
