I have a 150 gallon with 4 catfish sold as petricola but I understand they could be Lucipinnis. Have had all 4 just over a year. Recently I have noticed that one is spending most of its time in the one back corner. There is a rock that seems to have had a decent amount of the substrate cleared away around and under it. The one that hangs out in the back corner is the largest of the group. Two of the others seem to spend a decent amount of time hovering around the area.
It is definitely new behavior for them but is it normal? Previously all 4 were extremely active and all over the entire tank.
Sorry for the not great pictures difficult for camera to focus with the constant bubbles.

I would recommend posting your inquiry on Planet Catfish. Chances are 99 to 1 they are lucipinnis just from statistics. But whether this is some kind of pre-breeding behavior or not, the PCF folks would know well.
