Petrified Wood

I was just wondering if anyone has any petrified wood in their tanks and if so has it caused any problems??

I have had pieces, polished and unpolished, in several tanks, never had a problem.

was there any treatment ?? you had to do to the wood?? it sound's silly being petrified wood but I expect the unxpected , you know what I mean!! understand!! digit!!!! ya hear!!!!.............. thanxs

The pieces I used were all from NE CA. and had steaks of opal in them, I just simmered them through a couple changes of water and did not use anything collected near the road.
