Petsmart and Julli Corys

I was doing some more reading up on Julli Corys trying to find their Scientific name to order about 14 of them, im the process I discovered Julli Corys ARE NOT readily available for commercial sale and because of this, most petstores falsely sale Leopard corys or Three-stripe corys in their place.

The reason I asked is I had a tank about a year now and it recently crashed from a stupid fish introduction I did, The corys were the second batch of fish i bought and I have one survivor of the school, I have grown really partial to him and feel horrible I cant find him any friends. Now im worried if I do order Jullis if they will be the actual same species as I know Corys are a little racist to other subspecies and do not like schooling with them.

So in your experiences, Is Petsmarts Julli Corys actual Jullis or a false representation?

Best way to find out is to go an look for yourself. There is differences in appearance between false and true juliis.

While they may prefer their own subspecies they do prefer other cories to none, so don't wait too long.

Almost guaranteed trilineatus. It's very, very rare to get julliis as labelled. Importers even have an issue when ordering direct from the source.
