Petsmart Classic Kamfa + his girlfriend

Well, my 5" petsmart kamfa has paired with my female carpintis "escondido", eggs are chilling right now in a clay pot...

Any ideas what the fry may look like?

Are the eggs fertile? Wait one week if the eggs are gone its because its the first time they spawned.

hey hope they hatch. Once eggs hatch, best to be safe and take out the dad. Let mom care for thr hatchlings as they might get stuck in rocks and stuff. If mom start to eat them you know what to do.

That's a pretty good batch/cross. Congrats early..

don't loose them pls. You'll regret if you do.

Very interested to see how this plays out, if they are fertile it confirms that they can breed at a normal age and that at least some of them are fertile.

Eggs weren't white before work, but now they are gone, the ***** must have eaten them

I would keep them together until for at least a few more tries.

Yep, if they've bonded, I recommend letting them try again. This is probably because its their first try and that they're inexperienced. Best to give them a few more tries. )
