Hey everyone. I'm thinking of going to my local Petsmart to pick up an Eheim Canister Filter. Does Petsmart match online prices of other stores? Also, the only online store I've heard about is Big Al's. Big Al's prices are cheaper than Petsmarts but I was wondering if there are other online stores that are cheaper and that Petsmart will match. Thanks, The Doctor.

Its petsmarts policy to match their own web prices. Some will match online websites like bigals or drsfostersmith, but they are not required to (aparently up to the store manager). Mine will only match their own prices.

I just came back from Petsmart and I have another post in the set-up section about what heaters to buy for a 180 gallon. "Edwin" recommended 2 250watt stealth heaters. The store price is about $37 each but I brought in their online price and only paid about $19 each for them. They didn't have any problems matching their online price. Thanks, The Doctor.
