Petsmart

I found a petsmart today on millstream road in langford, British Columbia people will know where that is
after reading on here about the conditions these fish live in I was expecting to see some interesting fish (almost dead)for cheap, but to my surprise the conditions at this location where great the water was clean so where the tanks and gravel. The fish also seemed very healthy swimming around with no sores or spots
I wanted to pick up a pacu from there but at the moment am not any where close to being able to keep him for life

Petsmarts vary a lot depending on the managers.

The PetSmart in the San Francisco Area are really clean cut...MOst fish are in average condition...THe water quality is clean....Then again, I do not go to PetSmart for the fish, I have local Mom and Pop places that carry a wider assortment of selection at whole sale prices....PetSmart is where I go to get my dog stuff....

My petsmart isn't that bad either when it comes to fish condition and water quality. As guppy said depends on the manager.

The PetSmart I frequent is actually great....Now Petco on the other hand they all suck around me.

Yes. most of the Petsmarts around here are good. I still don't buy fish from them but they are the best of the chains I think.

I have to drive some distance just for fish not to mention not a single fish club AT ALL in Miami (only Koi)
There is one pet store not far from me its a PETCO and EVERY fish has ich or is dead or about to die.
They were great 5 months ago than boom it became the most sickly fish I have ever seen even their incredibly overpriced limited marine section is barely alive thus I drive some distance for a common danio fish
