The Land where Fish Rule!
Anybodyever order from http://www.petsolutions.com/? I was thinking about getting some p-bass from them. I got three from them a couple months ago, but they all died becuase i coudlnt get them feeding. They were a tad bit skinny when they came in though. I wanted to see if the generaly health of the rest of the fish from there was good. This time I will probably get the next size up and maybe I will have better luck getting them feeding. Really its the best price for p bass I can find. Justing looking for cheap, not any really fancy varieties.

So are you telling us that you never even gave them live feed after they would not acclimate to commercial food. So they just starved to death which is something they will do. If you are dead set on not giving them live then maybe should get some other type of fish.

It takes time to break a fish off live food, most of the time the stores feed feeders as they have lots and lots of them, my advice buy the largest possible and get some feeders local so you can try pellets but if they dont take to it right away throw in what ever it takes to get them eating, you can try worms also.

I buy most of my supplies there, but I have never bought any fish online/shipped.

What actually happened was they came in very, very small and feeders werent an option becuase of that. They were supposed tobe 1- 2.5 in, but they came in maybe .75 in. I thought I had them on black worms and thought they were eating, but around 2 weeks later they died. So I THINK maybe they werent eating at all, but it also could have been something else. The next size up is 2 -4in, so even if they are on the small side of that they should be able to take some type of feeder. As long as they come in some-what healthy and some-what the advertised size, I think I should have better luck with them. The first ones I was just unprepared for the super small size.

maybe preorder some daphnia. I have yet to run into a fish that doesn't want to eat daphnia. I have yet to see a fish go 2 days without eating, with them bouncing around the tank.
