What should I look for if my PH
Is dropping? Other parameters look good. 3 month old 250g tank. I added some Java Fern 8 weeks ago. I have a small amount of brown algae. Continuous drip WC.

More frequent water changes until the pH goes back to normal.
something is breaking down most likely in a sump or filter so clean them out thoroughly with extra water changes.

My 120 once dropped down to 6.5 and my local water is 7.8

Freshwater fish constantly urinate (acid), this drops pH, so a drip may not be as effective as larger and more frequent water changes to maintain stability.
It also may have to do with the buffering capacity of your make up water, if tap water alkalinity is on the high side(100ppm or above) your tank may be able to handle the bio-load longer than if it is 50ppm or lower.
It may be the case that your drip method is not able to be keep up with the bio-load, and whatever buffering capacity the drip has, is immediately neutralized by fish urine, and other metabolism byproducts.
You can call your water provider for details such as average alkalinity etc.

turn up drip system. This must help. How many gallons are u driping per day?

Ph is always going down. Normally regular water changes can help stabilize it some. As detritus builds up in the filter or in the gravel it drives ph down. I don't recommend you over clean your filter just rinse out any heavy solids. Leave it semi dirty so you don't wash all your beneficial bacteria away. If you have gravel you may need to do a gravel vac.

Check for hardness/alkalinity. You may have to add a buffer to stablize the pH.
