ph for new tea cup

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You should go through and read all the stickies before you get the ray.

As long as the ray is acclimated properly ph won't be an issue but there are a ton of other things you will need to know before you can properly care for a ray.

Best place to start would be finding out what kind of ray you are getting. Teacup is a common name used for several species of stingray when they are small. It is most likely a retic.

I can not stress enough how important research is to keeping rays please read up before you purchase a ray :)

Make sure you see it feed on a variety of foods before you take it home (leave a deposit or pay in full first if you need to)

Make sure that you are prepared for the size of tank it will need and the amount of water changes you will need to do along with excellent filtration

As all of the other replies have said...have a good read up.

If you are asking about the ph and asking about a tea cup then you do not know enough yet but it is good that you are asking before it has arrirved and had problems

Ask lots of questions as we are here to help.:D
