I am getting my new Breidohris on Tuesday from Rapps. I got rid of all my fish that were in the tank (I did not have anything special) so that my little guys will enjoy the tank all to themselves.

After doing a 87% water change i wanted to make sure the water conditions were ok. Everything was 0 from Ammonia to Nitrates and Nitrites. My ph was 7.6 but the high ph read 8.0?

So, my question is which ph do i use?

I hope i am making sense? It is really late so please do not bash me if it is an oblivious answer :irked:

I'm wondering why you have 0 nitrates if you had fish in the tank. You should have at least some.

There is not need to worry about the pH and it will come down some.
