PH level

Just a thought, the actual blue in your test appears to be deeper than and exceeds the last square in the 1st, normal pH column.
You may also want to try doing the high range pH test (2nd column) to see if it more closely resembles a square there.
I usually run both column reagents to be sure

Above, as s you can see in a test I did recently on my tank, and comparing column color distinction
The pH of my tank obviously exceeds the 7.6 square, and more closely resembles the pH square in the 8 to 8.2 range.
And the only way to be sure is using both pH norma, l and high range reagents.

I’m planning on a Small water change this evening (25%ish) as my new fish has been in the tank for close to 48 hours. I will run another test and report back. Thanks
