I seem to be having some PH level issues. I tested the PH in my tank this morning and it shows up as 6.0

I did a test from the faucet and it shows up as 7.2-7.6 , High PH test is 8.4-8.8

What would cause the PH to drop so much?

I have a few small rocks, 1 piece of small driftwood and a few fake plants and 2 inch or regular aquairum gravel with weekly 25% water changes.

Thanks

most likely the driftwood as ^^^^^ said it =) unless you're dosing CO2 but I doubt that the fake plants need it :P don't try too hard to fix it - stable low ph is better than fluctuating one right ?! unless you're keeping something that requires a high ph ...

good luck, let us know what was the reason for it to drop
