pH lvl for my oscar????

I got the ph tester,what ph lvl should i put it at? (for my oscar)

my uncle keeps his at 7 ( as that what our tap water is) they arn't fussy... 6.0 - 7.5 i think

I wouldn't mess with trying to change your ph. You oscar can adjust to what your natural ph is. Ph consistency and clean water are the most important things.

I also have a irrodesent shark and all he does is play dead on yesterdays post someyone suggested I had problems with my ph lvl

Everytime there's a problem, there's always one in every crowd who says it's a ph problem. With a iridescent shark, you need a huge aquarium with a large powerhead. Could he be playing dead cuz he knocked himself silly in one of his mad dashes?

My PH is almost 8.0 and my Oscar is fine. With frequent water changes, due to him being an absolute pig when he eats, his health is fine.
