Hi all,

My PH lvl in my tank i currently 5.5-6, ammonia is set at 0.
And i had one of a monster keeper telling me that it should be set on 6.5-7. Is this true?
One more thing, how do i raise the ph lvl if its true. I did water change, added in some CC.

It really depends on what kind of fish you keep, if you have discus, bettas, certain tetras, or some Geophagines, a pH of 5-6 is no problem.
If you have rift lake cichlids, or Central Americans, a higher pH may be needed.
You should check the pH of your tap water, a call to you water supply company is usually all it takes.
If your tank pH is drastically different than the tap, you need more frequent partial water changes.
