pH of Native Tanks

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You could take a PH test of your water or a body of water around your area and see what you get. But I think PH in the neutral is fine for natives. In my tanks it is around 7.6 I think.

Whatever comes out of the tap. Most natives can live in a variety of conditions, its more important to keep it stable than at a certain level.

Be careful with the tap though. If you don't use well water and use city water, you can kill your fish with the chlorine. I'm sure you knew that already, but just reminding you.

Mine bounces between 7.2 -7.6 depending on the water coming from the tap.
