PH problems comming out of tap at 6

I have just been doing my waterchnages and took out around 35% out on my ray tank and i like to test my ray tanks PH after a W.C. and ive got it at roughly 6.2! Its usually 6.5! I test my PH straight from my tap and its down to around 6 its usually 7. My rays seem fine and unaffected, but in my tetratec 1200 canister i have loads of cockle shell so im hoping hat it should buffer it. Its not a PH crash as its comming out of the tap at that ive tested usuing 2 kits. What do you think? Also my rays are eating fine.

that's the problem with tap water it can fluctuate quite a bit, that's why i use R.O water.

also i have a basket with coral chip's and a airstone in to keep it steady

i wouldnt worry about it... as long as your tank doesnt drop your fine...
