Did a water change about 30% after a small feeding of my fish i leave to go to work and i just get home to a dead 20" TSN a dead 9" Mono Pbass and a dead 19" Mono Pbass. HELP HELP HELP my gar is being very active and acting weird and my oscar is just sitting at the bottom of the tank gasping for air

i'd answer but looks like Mr. inconsistent is here for the rescue so i'mma just sit back and watch the master at work

only fast solution being that its 3:30 in the morning is to angle the power head and my fx5's to break the waters surface. I had changed the angle of them when i was doing my water change and didnt move them back up until just now would 8 hours of them not breaking the waters surface be the cause of this?

Wow, he actually didn't answer. i was going to say it sounds like they aren't getting enough oxygen but you've already solved the problem by changing the angles of things. Any chance you can add airstones?

i could take them out of my 75 gal but i have a fx5 on there this tank with the problem is a 210 now only holding a tropical gar, tiger oscar, common pleco and spotted rafeal cat but the tank is fully planted.
