cause ive never had a problem in my 220 and all of a sudden over the past week its been in the 5.4-5.6 range any tips to raise it to around 6.5-7

Did the tap water change?

You need to figure why it dropped so sudden. What's your alkalinity (kh) for tank and tap? That's your buffering capacity. The higher the KH, the more resistant the tank is to ph swings. Also, what's your water change schedule? The easiest way to safely raise your ph is with crushed coral. That will help buffer your system. Whatever you do, don't add any of those ph 'up' or 'down' products.

If you can fit in your filter, that would be better. Be sure to know what your kh is.
