In search of Leiarius
i want to know if philadendrons are fish and onvert safe, was thinking of submerginging the roots of my small philadendron cutting into my 10 gallon.
thanks

They're supposed to be toxic to dogs. I don't know if they would effect your critters, but better not to risk it. Pothos is supposed to be fish safe.

alright then thanks noto.

Yes....You can submerge the roots...it's fine. I have done it for years and know many others that do. I submerge the roots in my Discus tank and drape the plant over the top of the glass lids. Looks great and the fish like to play/hide in the roots.
