There is barely any info about their care and right now I take care of my PPT as I would my MBTs (aside from the nocturnal part). From what little I have read, I know that they are nocturnal, predominantly herbivores and are very hardy. Anybody additional info on PPTs would be greatly appreciated.

Your not going to find much, the species is critically endangered and Illegal to own outside the Country, and within it must be registered and permitted..

To my knowlege this species is not ilegal to own outside the Philipines, however it is not legal to export them. Which I gess makes them as legal as bearded dragons. There are a few people and zoos with them, they have so far proven very hard to breed in captivity. I have yet to see one live.

PPTs are illegal to own but the laws are not enforced here in the Phils. I personally know a smuggler whom I got my PPT from ( I did not know what PPTs were illegal and endangered at that time) and he claims to receive shipments of 100pcs of leytensis at a time. As far as I know the dude has already been reported to the authorities and nothing has been done about this. I, personally, regret buying my PPT for increasing the demand. However, I have no plans of giving it to the authorities since the conditions of their enclosures are so disgusting (like the asian markets) and the life off my PPT will be much worse with them.
