They grow to a max of 120cm or about more or less 4 ft. although i have never seen one grow as big, thats probably cause all the hito i see are either cooked or in the restaurant aquarium
they are native to our country and i dont know if they import it to the US as a pet fish or even as a food fish..here's a pic..
